It's pleasant here in NJ, after the too moist, too hot air of Kolkata and Mumbai. Barring a few Coughs which irritate the hell out of both my husband and I. He's sneezing too...maybe its just a touch of hay fever?
The place was a mess. I admit I'm Complaining (another C word) to all and sundry, but heck. My mom suggested i Call in a Cleaning service which I bristled at and took as a Challenge to my housewifeness. I'm rolling in C's today.
I wish I hadn't been Clever and taken the Challenge sometimes. Especially when the jetlag makes me stay up all night, listening to his snores. Cough.
I had my first domestic accident today. Clumsy, Careless, bleeding me. Lopped off a neat slice of skin with the potato peeler, and me being all happy about the fact that it was its debut into the fine society of our flat.
Blood, eww.
Conclusion: A day in the life of Mrs EmKay. And something smelling super awesome in the kitchen!
